If you would like to have an official golf handicap and play in club competitions, then why not join us today? For just £80 including golf union fees you can be a part of the friendliest golf club for miles.

Most of our members came here not knowing anyone. We paired them up with other like minded individuals, and they now have regular golfing chums who they play with on a regular basis.

In order to gain a handicap, golfers are required to complete three rounds of 18 holes on the Old (long) Course, and hand over the signed scorecards. Our handicap secretary Clive, then puts the golfer onto the computer system so that their first handicap is given to them.

After that, you just play in our monthly medals or stablefords to try not only to win the comp, but to improve your handicap.

You will find the membership form on the downloads page of our website, and the new members year is about to begin so this is an ideal time to do it!

Alternatively, we offer a nine hole membership for those who only wish to play in nine hole competitions. This costs £39 a year. You still need to put in the three eighteen hole cards, but after that, you just play in the nine hole comps.

Our members handicap card will be accepted anywhere, just like those of other clubs. This is because part of your sub. goes to the English Golf Union, as well as a payment to the B.B. and O Golf Union. Of course, you can just play here for fun, but if you want to take your golf more seriously, then this is the best way to go.
