Golf Course Changes

These golfers will be even happier when they see the changes we are making!

The first hole has had a second tee behind the lake for a long time. The lovely new tee on the second  (11th) hole will be open in the spring. This will only be 30 yards further back, but it is raised right up, changing the character of this hole completely.

The twelfth tee is set back in the woods, and adds even more length to this tricky par five hole. The fourth and thirteenth hole has always been a tricky par three, what with the dead oak jumping out at every opportunity!

The fourteenth tee is set well back, making the dogleg and the ditch more fun than ever.

The fifteenth hole also has a brand new tee just waiting for the spring to open. This lovely hole just keeps on getting better and better. Last year, the digger brought the lake right out, making your tee shot one that you really need to think about.

The sixteenth tee takes you over the lake, changing the hole completely.

Of course, we all love the seventeenth, set back in the bluebell woods, with more of those trees lying in wait for your unsuspecting golf ball.

Finally, the eighteenth tee is set about three club lengths further back than the ninth so that your club selection is quite different on the back nine.
