Alignment Continued

Many golfers play a poor drive because their line up and vision of the target is negatively approached due to their thinking of where they don't want to go or because last time they sliced, or many other reasons.

What you should do is see your target, blinker your vision only to the target. Do not look at the problems but focus on what you do want to happen. Imagine making a good swing and shot even though this may be a rare occurrence.  Pick a spot to aim at and picture yourself swinging well and finishing with a nicely balanced posture.

It is a common fault for golfers to shank a short chip or wedge shot because their hands and arms try to steer the club down the line of play to the target. This is an obvious mistake to make.
