News of the Members' Presentation Night Barbeque on Saturday 19th June and The Senior's Trophy on 7th and 10th July.

This Saturday 19th June, we are holding our annual nine hole comp. on the short course. (Teams of four, best two scores on each hole to count) This is followed by a barbeque and presentation of the prizes for the year. We still have spaces for both the golf and the barby so please support this fun evening. Telephone 01344 869259 to book your tickets. The golf is a shotgun start at 5.30pm and the barby will start at around 7pm.

On the same day all golfers who play nine holes on the new course, can compete for the Brian Thornhill Spoon. The winning golfer's name will be placed on the spoon for all to see. Nancy Thornhill is unfortunately in hospital right now so we all wish her well, and hope that she is soon back with us again. Members playing in the evening can use their round to play in the Brian Thornhill at the same time.

The Seniors Trophy this year is taking place on 7th and 10th July. This competition is open to all 9 and 18 hole members over the age of 55, including ladies, so come on everyone, enter now in the clubhouse or on the 'phone.
