A Brief Description of How to Gain and Maintain Your Handicap
For those golfers who wish to gain and maintain an official golf handicap, we offer two inexpensive options.
Our nine hole membership costs £37 per annum, including a £12 Golf Union fee. For this you get the chance to play in our 9 hole competitions. These are held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month and ten of them each year qualify for handicap alteration. The qualifying competitions are held between May and September.
Our eighteen hole membership comes to £78 per annum. This amount includes a £12 Golf Union fee. In order to achieve a handicap, you need to play three rounds of eighteen holes and hand in your cards to one of our team members. Then you will be given your official golf handicap and handicap card, so that you can begin to play in competitions. These are held on the first and third wednesdays and weekends each month. We also hold knock out competitions among the members.
For those golfers who prefer to play on the par three course, we have a membership option for you. For just £360 per year, you can play unlimited golf on the par three course (conditions apply). You will find further details in our latest news section, and you can download a par three members form on the download page. This is a limited offer so please don't delay.
JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP On the par three course, we are offering two options for junior membership. From the age of 5 to 18, for unlimited golf on the par three course, the cost is just £200 per year. Alternatively for a payment of £50, a junior may then play on the short course for the cost of only £2.50 for nine holes. This is conditional only on tee times being available. Parents and Junior golfers must also sign the Junior Code of Conduct Form available as a download.
Click here to go to our download section and print out the membership form to suit your needs and a copy of our Junior Code of Conduct.
Each June we hold a members' presentation, barbeque and par three competition. This is followed by the presentation of the prizes for the previous year's competitions.
Members receive a discount on their green fees, when playing in a club competition.
